Bajaj CT100 Is Now More Cheaper


Bajaj Auto has slashed pricing of its entry-level commuter bike CT100. The bike range has seen a price drop of up to Rs. 7,000. While the Bajaj CT100 has seen a price cut of Rs. 1,939, the CT100 KS comes cheaper by Rs. 7,000 after the price revision. Thanks to this price reduction, the cheapest bike of the country becomes even more affordable for the customers. Thanks to this price cut, the Bajaj CT100 now comes with a starting price of Rs. 30,714 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

The bike is currently available in three different variants and it is one of the most popular and bestselling bikes in the rural areas of India. The bike appeals to the customers as an inexpensive and practical commuter model in the 100 cc segment.
The Bajaj CT100 B comes powered by a 99.2 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine coupled with a 4-speed transmission. The engine is capable of churning out 8 bhp of peak power at 7,500 rpm and 8.05 Nm of peak torque at 4,500 rpm. On the other hand, the Bajaj CT100 ES Alloy variant comes powered by a slightly bigger 102 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine paired with a 4-speed transmission. This engine kicks out 7.5 bhp of peak power at 7,500 rpm and 8.24 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.

This sturdy commuter bike uses telescopic front suspension and twin shock absorbers at the back. For braking duty, the bike uses drum brakes on both the front and rear end. Bajaj CT100 competes with rivals like Hero HF Dawn, TVS Sport and Hero Splendor iSmart. With the CT100’s pricing reduced, Bajaj is expecting to see greater sales result for the bike in the semi-urban and rural areas of India.
